Product description
What is BlephaCura®Lid Gel Mask?
How does it work?
- Thermal therapy (local heat) → heating the eyelids helps to fluidize Meibomian gland secretions, reducing inflammation and discomfort.
- Gentle massage after application → supports hygiene and cleaning of the eyelid margin.
- Use as a cold mask → stored in the refrigerator, the mask can soothe irritation, redness, and the sensation of eye discomfort.
- Reusable and easy to clean → economical and practical for daily use.
When is BlephaCura®Lid Gel Mask recommended?
- For blepharitis (inflammation of the eyelid margin).
- For dry eye syndrome.
- For preparing eyelid hygiene before/after wearing contact lenses.
- For soothing irritation, redness, and the sensation of tired eyes.
- As an adjuvant in the daily eye hygiene routine.
How is it used?
- Heat the mask in a warm water bath (approx. 45°C).
- Place a compress or a damp cotton pad between the eyelid skin and the mask to avoid direct contact.
- Apply the heated mask to closed eyelids for 5–10 minutes; secure with the elastic band if necessary.
- Gently massage the edge of the eyelids.
- Clean the eyelids with a lint-free cotton pad soaked in a suitable cleansing suspension, preferably surfactant-free (e.g., BlephaCura®Med LidCare Suspension).
- For a cold effect → keep the mask in the refrigerator and apply to closed eyes to soothe irritation.
It is recommended to use once or twice a day (e.g., morning and evening, before applying lenses).
