What is Intravit?
Intravit is an innovative food supplement based on Pineapple Bromelain and standardized extracts of Curcuma (turmeric), Artemisia (tarragon), and black pepper, designed to support eye health and provide antioxidant protection.
It is used as an adjuvant in retinal conditions such as:
- retinopathy,
- wet macular degeneration,
- central retinal vein occlusion,
- uveitis,
- other ophthalmological pathologies.
How does it work?
- Bromelain (from pineapple) → contributes to the normal functioning of microcirculation, to the reduction of fluid retention, and to supporting digestion.
- Turmeric (95% curcuminoids) → has a powerful antioxidant role and protects cells against oxidative stress.
- Artemisia (tarragon) → supports digestion and metabolic processes.
- Black pepper (95% piperine) → amplifies the absorption and efficiency of curcumin.
What does it contain?
- Turmeric extract – 200 mg (190 mg curcumin)
- Artemisia extract – 80 mg
- Bromelain (from pineapple) – 80 mg (20 mg total activity, 197 GDU)
- Pineapple extract – 20 mg
- Black pepper extract – 2 mg (1.9 mg piperine)
- Other ingredients: bulking agents (microcrystalline cellulose, calcium phosphate, pregelatinized starch), anti-caking agents (vegetable magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide).
- Does not contain gluten and lactose.
When is Intravit recommended?
- Intravit is indicated as support for:
- retinopathy,
- wet macular degeneration,
- central retinal vein occlusion,
- uveitis,
- other ophthalmological pathologies associated with oxidative stress.
How is it used?
- 1–2 tablets per day, with water, preferably before meals.
- The recommended dose should not be exceeded.
Warnings and precautions:
- Not recommended for use by people with liver conditions, biliary conditions, or gallstones.
- Contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- Do not use for prolonged periods without medical advice.
- Consult your doctor if you are following medical treatments.
- Store at a temperature below 25 °C, away from moisture and direct light.
- Keep out of reach of children.
