What is Intravit forte?
Intravit FORTE is an oral food supplement based on Diosmin, Scutellaria baicalensis, Bromelain, Artemisia dracunculus, and Pineapple, formulated to support ocular health and contribute to reducing macular edema.
The formula is gluten-free and lactose-free and offers natural support in conditions associated with inflammation, oxidative stress, and increased vascular permeability.
How does it work?
- Scutellaria baicalensis (baicalein, baicalin, wogonin) → anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and neuroprotective effects, reducing oxidative stress and cellular apoptosis.
- Bromelain (from pineapple) → supports microcirculation and the edema reabsorption process.
- Diosmin → flavonoid with a vascular protection role, reduces capillary permeability and inflammation; contributes to the reduction of retinal edema and the protection of the blood-retinal barrier.
- Artemisia dracunculus → supports digestion and metabolic balance.
- Pineapple extract → source of bromelain with a role in regulating inflammatory processes.
What does it contain?
- Scutellaria e.s. – 200 mg
- Bromelain – 130 mg
- Diosmin – 75 mg
- Artemisia e.s. – 80 mg
- Pineapple dry extract – 20 mg
- Does not contain gluten and lactose.
When is Intravit FORTE recommended?
Intravit FORTE is indicated as an adjuvant in:
- macular edema associated with diabetic retinopathy, serous chorioretinopathy or retinal vein occlusion,
- ocular conditions with an inflammatory and oxidative component,
- support of microcirculation and retinal neuronal protection.
How is it used?
- 1–2 tablets per day, on an empty stomach.
- The tablets should be swallowed with a large amount of water.
Warnings and precautions:
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.
- Food supplements do not replace a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
- Keep out of reach of children under 3 years old.
- Contraindicated for people with allergies to the product’s ingredients.
- Store in a cool and dry place, away from light and heat sources.
- Do not consume after the expiration date.
