What is TriMIX?
TriMIX is an innovative lubricating ophthalmic solution for moderate/severe dry eye, with cross-linked hyaluronic acid, trehalose and stearylamine incorporated in liposomes, which:
• protects and moisturizes the ocular surface
• reduces symptoms of moderate and severe dry eye
• soothes and prevents irritation
• supports the regeneration of ocular tissues after surgical interventions or exposure to environmental factors
How does it work?
• Cross-linked hyaluronic acid → intense and lasting hydration
• Trehalose → antioxidant and cell-protective effect
• Liposomes + stearylamine → soothing, emollient and antimicrobial action
• Restoration of the tear film in all 3 layers
What does it contain?
• Cross-linked hyaluronic acid 0,15%
• Trehalose 3%
• Stearylamine in liposomes 0,25%
• pH buffered solution 7,2
When is TriMIX recommended?
TriMIX is useful as an adjuvant in:
• Dry eye syndrome moderate and severe dry eye
• Ocular irritation caused by surgical interventions or various environmental agents
• Can also be used while wearing contact lenses.
How to use?
• Instill 1–2 drops in each eye, once or more times a day or according to medical recommendation
Warnings and precautions:
• Do not use in case of allergy to components
• Product sterile until opening – valid 30 days after unsealing
• Do not use after the expiration date or if the bottle is damaged
• Avoid touching the eye with the tip of the bottle
• Store below 25 °C
• Keep out of reach of children
• Rarely, a mild transient ocular irritation may occur.
• Compatible with contact lenses
